To begin with please create a simple drawing of your deck. It typically takes 5 minutes to draft one. The adjacent illustration is an example of the type of hand drawn decking drawing we are looking for. If your project needs extra details please include them in the drawing.

For the purpose of our estimate, please measure each perimeter deck run to the nearest inch. If you have stairs that require railings, measure the distance between your stair stringers and the number of stair treads. Be sure to also indicate if you require railings down both sides of the stair stringers or just one side.

This information in your drawing allows us to calculate the post spacing for your project, helps us determine the materials needed, and also helps us identify any areas of concern.

That's it! With this information we can provide you a firm estimate to supply only, or supply and install a Home-Rail railing system.
